RICS, in collaboration with Smart City Consortium (SCC), will host the RICS-SCC PropTech Conference on Friday 23 November 2018 in the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.

CIB World Building Congress 2019 – Constructing Smart Cities

The CIB World Building Congress, themed ‘Constructing Smart Cities will take place in Hong Kong, China next year, 17 –21 June, 2019.

CIB is the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction. It was established in 1953 as an Association whose objectives were to stimulate and facilitate international cooperation and information exchange between governmental research institutes in the building and construction sector, with an emphasis on those institutes engaged in technical fields of research. 

The Congress is particularly interested to receive papers that explore how clients and users can address the megatrends of:

  • population changes covering demographics, international migration and urbanisation;
  • the water, energy, resource, food and climate nexus;
  • the changing geo-economic and geopolitical landscape;
  • the moving frontier of digitisation and disruptive technologies;
  • the global demand for equal access to wealth, health and knowledge.

2019 European Conference on Computing in Construction (2019 EC³)

The European Council on Computing in Construction (EC3) will host the 2019 European Conference on Computing in Construction (2019 EC³) in 10-12 July 2019 in Chania, Greece.
